5 Day - Up to 10 Hours Per Day 1 Day - Evaluation at the end of the course This 5 day course offers the practical and theoretical knowledge used by industrial rope access technicians. This course establishes a depth of knowledge required to apply rope access skills to a wide range of work locations. This course will form the foundation or complement professional development for all work at height professionals covering the principles of rope access." The Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT®) is a United States-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the safe development of industrial rope access standards. SPRAT supports companies and technicians using rope access in a variety of ways, including certification programs, regulatory support and networking. Membership in the organization is open to any company or individual interested in furthering the interest of rope access. Current members include a broad cross-section of commercial industry, professional services, and government agencies. SPRAT LEVEL I This course offers the practical and theoretical knowledge used by Level I industrial rope access technicians. This course establishes a depth of knowledge required to apply rope access skills to a wide range of work locations. This course will form the foundation or compliment professional development for all work at height professionals covering the basic principles of rope access. SPRAT LEVEL II This course offers the practical and theoretical knowledge used by a Level II industrial rope access technician. The level II technician shall be capable of performing basic rope access tasks, advanced maneuvers, supervised rigging and the majority of rescue techniques providing safe and effective rescue operations UNDER direct supervision of a Level III Rope Access Supervisor. SPRAT LEVEL III This Supervisor/Specialist level course meets or exceeds the syllabus requirements set forth by IRATA, SPRAT and ASTM standards. This course provides instruction in the skills and responsibilities for the management and supervision of rope access activities executed by Level I & II technicians. A Level III candidate shall be capable of performing all rope access tasks, advanced maneuvers, technical rigging and rescue techniques Instructor: Damien Noe offers Rope Access Training in accordance with the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) principles and guidelines.
