Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making p3safetysolutions.com accessible to everyone.
P3 Safety Solutions is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our Efforts
We conducted an accessibility audit of this website in April 2026 and have applied the following improvements:
- Added a "Skip to main content" link on every page for keyboard users
- Implemented proper page landmark regions (
<main>,<nav>,<header>,<footer>) - Ensured all interactive elements have visible keyboard focus indicators
- Verified color contrast meets the 4.5:1 minimum ratio for normal text throughout the site
- Added ARIA labels to buttons, form fields, and dynamic content regions
- Ensured form status messages (success and error) are announced to screen readers
- Added state announcements to the course filter on the Training page
- Verified all images have descriptive alternative text
In July 2026 we completed a further manual WCAG 2.1 AA review and applied the resulting fixes across the site — strengthening keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element, improving both text and non-text color contrast, enlarging small touch targets, distinguishing in-text links by more than color alone, and adding support for high-contrast and reduced-motion display modes.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:
- Our course catalog and training schedule are hosted on a third-party platform (instructor.p3safetysolutions.com). We do not control that platform's accessibility features but encourage its provider to meet accessibility standards.
- Our client portal is also a third-party platform and may have independent accessibility limitations.
- Our reviews to date combine automated static analysis with manual code, contrast, and keyboard testing. Full testing with assistive technology (screen readers, switch access) is still planned.

Standard & Assessment Approach
This statement references the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We assessed this website through automated static analysis of HTML and CSS, supplemented by a manual WCAG 2.1 AA review of contrast, keyboard focus, and markup semantics. We plan to further supplement this with assistive technology testing.
Statement last updated: July 2026.
